New Year Resolutions

It's the end of 2010 and here comes 2011. I know it's a bit late to write this since it's 10th January today, but who cares! haha..
Anyway, time really does flies, can't imagine that 2010 pass that fast, so many things happen, so many things changed. Neither good or bad, it's still part of the memory.

As I have mentioned before, the thing that concern me the most would be our relationships with relatives. It's sad and disappointed for what had happened. Can't imagine that they'll do that to their so called "family". People are selfish, people are all self-protected, and sometimes people willing to do something to hurt their family just because they're selfish.
I can't imagine that a relative of ours back stabbing us. Purposely went to the singing class just to convince someone not to work in my parent's office because she felt threaten if we hired someone helpful to boost up our business, pathetic! Not to mention they snatched our customers and two of our employees. And that bastard that never remember who taught him that much. Who given him opportunities, and after he learned all he needed to learn, turned back against us.

And the bitch who called and scolded my father. My father almost got heart attack after listening her phone call. His face turned green and sweaty. Oh, just for your information, that bitch who tried to kill my father is my father's sister who is a teacher in primary school (bravo). A sister who knew that her brother got heart problem but still called and scolded him. If anything happen to my father that time, I would have kill her. Mother fucker bitch! One of my new year wishes would be run into her someday and give her a middle finger and fuck her in her face!
I'm going to announce her name here!

Chuah SXXe HXXXg!!

That bitch is currently teaching in 槟城公民二校 SJK(C) Kong Min Cawangan (2)!
She scolded my father on the phone until he have no chance to talk or argue, which makes him so angry and almost got heart attack! You tell me, is this the right behavior of an educator? It sounded like something only hooligan or samseng will do! BRAVO TEACHER!! Plus, that bitch back stabbing my mother few years back at her school! She was like second-class human being in their eyes! FUCKING BITCH!

It's sad that we were forced to lose contact with other nice relatives as well. All relatives from my father's side were totally cut off now. But I think it's better this way, after all these years, my mother had it enough. They never treated her like a human, they never respected her. They were all look down on her. Fine then, it's all over now, I should feel relief.

Other than that, my grandfather also just passed away last month on 21st December 2010. Sad, regret that I didn't communicate much with him when he was healthy. Anyway, it's good for him at least, he was tortured for 2 months in hospital, this might be the best way to get over all the pain.

Last but not least, I think in 2011, there will be a big change for me. Change of environment, change of directions. Not convenience to write it out now, will update you guys when the day comes, just wish that the laziness wouldn't come over me then I'll blog about it :P

All about Harry Potter

It's November! Which means Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 would be release on this month! 18th November 2010! Excited about it!!
Although, many non-book-reader audiences in Malaysia isn't looking forward to the movie, for example, my dear colleagues. Only one of them is looking forward to the movie. The others said that they're not interested. Well it's understandable.. Because Malaysia audiences are VISUALIZE audiences THEY LOVE TRANSFORMERS!! Well, whatever..
I've bought the tickets for 18th November, but after that only I realized in Malaysia it will be release on 17th November instead!!! ARGH!!!

Ok, for those who're interested but cannot remember all the storyline of Harry Potter 1 to Harry Potter 6, I'll try my best to summarize it and make a clear picture for you before you go for Harry Potter 7! So here it goes!


Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone


It all started with The-Boy-Who-Lived, Harry Potter. When one night the darkest wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort, hunt down the Potter family, killed James and Lily Potter.
By the time Voldemort wanted to kill Harry, the killing curse backfired for some reason and so Voldemort falled.
The world then believed that Lord Voldemort is gone forever, except for Dumbledore.
Dumbledore is the greatest sorcerer of all time. He is the only one person that Voldemort ever feared of.

After that night, Dumbledore left Harry in the Muggle world with his mother’s sister, his aunt Petunia and his uncle Vernon. Dumbledore appeared at Number 4, Privet Drive, Little Wingin. He uses the Deluminator to turn off the streetlight. The Deluminator is a device, which can suck in all the lights around the places. (Keep this device in your mind, you will be reminded in Harry Potter 7).

His aunt and uncle Vernon then brought up Harry, who hates magic and hate Harry because of his parents were wizard and witch.
He grew up with his cousin, Dudley, who is awful to Harry as well.
When Harry reaches 11 years old, he received a mysterious letter from a place call Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
His aunt and uncle tried to stop him to going back to where he belongs, the magical world. And so, there was Hagrid, the half giant, half human man came by their doorstep, told Harry that he is a wizard, and he is going to Hogwarts.

Hagrid brought Harry to Diagon Alley to purchase the things he needed like wand, spell books and an owl. Before that, Hagrid brought Harry to the wizard bank Gringotts to withdraw his money that his parents left for him. (Keep the bank Gringotts in mind you going to see it again in the last movie, Deathly Hallows Part 2). While Harry was choosing his wand, or to be more precise, the wand choosing Harry, the wand maker Olivanders told Harry that the wand chosen the wizard. And the wand that choose Harry, and the Voldemort’s wand is made by the feather of the same phoenix. This is the first sign showing the connection between Harry and Voldemort.

His journey started, when 11 years old Harry went to King Cross, on platform 9 3/4, he took the Hogwarts Express and set off to his epic journey.
He met Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger in Hogwarts and three of them become very best friends to each other.

During his first year in Hogwarts, he accidentally find out about Nicholas Flamel, a wizard who is immortality by owning a stone known as, the Philosopher's Stone. The spirit of Voldemort that wondering around tried to come back by stealing the stone that is kept safely in Hogwarts.

Harry, Ron and Hermione found out about that and stop him.

Voldemort attached himself on one of the teacher's head, Professor Quirrell.
Harry accidentally found out that Professor Quirrell couldn’t touch him. His skin burns when he touches Harry. Harry wonders why and asked Professor Dumbledore. Dumbledore told him that it was his mother's love.


Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret


Harry's second year in Hogwarts started weird when a house elf named Dobby appeared in his room and stops him from going back to Hogwarts.
He met Ginny Weasley, Ron's sister, who admires Harry very much while he visited Ron's house.

Meanwhile, in Hogwarts, there were people been petrified and they claim that the Chamber of Secret has been opened again.
Harry then accidentally found a diary that belongs to a guy named Tom Riddle. The diary has been enhanced with magic that it can respond back to those who wrote on it.
Harry asked Tom Riddle about the Chamber of Secret. Riddle show Harry that 50 years ago there was a Mudblood (those who aren't from magical world, their parents aren't witch or wizard) killed and the suspect Hagrid has been expelled from Hogwarts.

Harry then also found out that he is a Parseltongue, who can speak snakes language. It was not a good thing even in the wizarding world. They say one of the founders Salazar Slytherin can speak snakes language too. So now the whole school thought that Harry is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin (which is bad), and he is the one who opened the Chamber of Secret.

In the end, Ginny was taken into the Chamber of Secret. Harry and Ron went tried to safe her in the Chamber of Secret, and they realized that Tom Riddle came to life via Ginny. They then realized that Tom Riddle is actually the same person as Lord Voldemort.
Tom Riddle is Lord Voldemort original named after his Muggle (non magic folks) father.
Harry then successfully safe Ginny from danger, and destroy the memory that came back from the diary by destroying the diary.

Dumbledore then told Harry that Lord Voldemort will try many ways to come back to life and they must be well prepared when that happens. He also told Harry that he believed, Lord Voldemort transfered some of his power to Harry the night he tried to kill him. That's why Harry can speak snakes language, because Tom Riddle is actually descendant of Salazar Slytherin.


Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban


On Harry's third year in Hogwarts, there was a prisoner named Sirius Black who escapes from the wizarding jail called, Azkaban.
The Azkaban Prison is guard by a terrible creature called, the Dementors. Sirius Black is the first and only prison that escaped from Azkaban ever. He was captured because he murdered 13 Muggles and a wizard. He is also a well-known Voldemort's supporter.
Harry was warned by Ron's father, Mr Weasley, that Black is going to after Harry and warned him that he would not go looking for Black no matter what rumours he heard.

He then realized that his father, James Potter, has 3 best friends when he was studying in Hogwarts. Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. 4 of them created a map called the Marauder's Map which shows everyone of what they're doing in every minute in the Hogwarts ground. They had known themselves as Mooney (Lupin), Padfoot (Sirius Black), Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew), and Prong (James Potter). Because of Remus Lupin is a werewolves, he have to transform every month. So the other 3 of them took some time and master human transform and became an Animagus (human who can transform to an animal). Sirius transforms into a black dog, Peter transform into a rat, and James transform into a stag.

Harry again found out, that the massive murderer Sirius Black is his godfather, and the wizard he murders is Peter Pettigrew. Rumours said that when they know that Voldemort is trying to hunt down the Potter family, they used the Fidelius Charm, which works by assigning a person as a Secret-Keeper of a certain house, and no one can reach to the house, unless they're told by the Secret-Keeper himself. In this case, rumours said that Sirius Black is Potter's Secret-Keeper and he sold their location to Lord Voldemort, ending up tragic in the Potter's family. Then Peter Pettigrew tried to stop Sirius and so Sirius Black killed him. (The Fidelius Charm was not mentioned in the movie!)

In the end, Harry realized that, Sirius is not Potter's Secret-Keeper, it was Peter Pettigrew instead. They purposely spread the fake rumours that Sirius is the Secret-Keeper to confuse Lord Voldemort. Unfortunately, their plan failed because they didn't know that Peter Pettigrew has became a Death Eater (Voldemort's followers). Wormtail aka Peter Pettigrew, fake his own death by killing the 13 Muggles on the crime scene, cut his own finger, and then escape by transforming into a rat, acted as a house pet in the Weasley family for 12 years. Sirius Black is innocent. Wormtail then escaped that night because Lupin transformed into a werewolves. Harry could not clear his godfather's name, and so Sirius Black is still a running prisoner.


Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire


The forth year of Harry Potter in Hogwarts is full of adventures as the Triwizard Tournament were hosted by Hogwarts this year.
This competition has been stopped for almost a century because of the dangerous of the tournament itself. This time the ministry of magic planed it well and make sure nobody got hurt.

It started by Harry, Ron, Hermione and the other fellow friends went to watch the Quidditch World Cup.
After the match ended. Suddenly the Death Eater (Voldemort’s followers) turns up and attacked the Muggles. While the Auror (it’s like wizarding world’s police) tried to stop the Death Eater, Harry Ron and Hermione run and hide in the woods. Suddenly they heard somebody turns up and conjured the Dark Mark (Voldemort’s mark). They believed that the sudden show up of the Death Eater is just for fun and when the Dark Mark appeared frighten them because it hasn’t been appeared for 14 years. They were afraid the return of the Dark Lord (Voldemort) because they scare that Voldemort would punish them for not finding him in the past 14 years.

Back to Hogwarts, someone submitted Harry’s name in the Goblet of Fire and made him the forth candidates of the tournament (which usually only have 3). Someone helped Harry secretly in order for him to precede and win the tournament. His new Defense Against the Dark Art teacher, Professor Mad-Eye Moody, has been watching over Harry over the year. He taught them the 3 Unforgiveable Curse, Avada Kedavra (the killing curse), Crucio (the torturing curse), and Imperius (the compelling curse).
When it comes to the third task of the Triwizard Tournament, which is a huge Maze, someone helped him secretly and make sure he gets to touch the Triwizard Cup first. Unfortunately Harry decided to touch the cup together with Cedric Diggory who is also Hogwarts candidates. Someone has turned the Triwizard Cup into a port key (an magic enhanced object which allowed to transfer people from one place to another, it is convenience for people in the wizarding world to travel).

Both Harry and Diggory were brought to a graveyard, which has the name Tom Riddle written on it. It was the grave of Lord Voldemort’s father. They saw Wormtail aka Peter Pettigrew; he killed Cedric Diggory, and brought Voldemort back to live by using the bone of his father, the blood of his enemy, and the flesh of his faithful servant. Voldemort is very much alive again. He chooses Harry’s blood to come back to live because he needs to finish off Harry himself. But he cannot touch Harry.
Harry’s mother, Lily Potter, cast a protective charm over Harry to protect him from harm. However, in order for the magic to work, Lily must sacrifice herself. The charm works for the best when Harry is close to someone blood-related to his mother. This is why Dumbledore put Harry under his aunt and uncle’s care even if they’re awful to him. When Harry still live with his aunt and uncle, when he still call their house as home, the protective charm will still worked.
But now, Voldemort uses his blood, he can now touch Harry. But the protective charm will still worked when Harry is around his aunt.

While Harry duel with Voldemort, something happened between Harry’s and Voldemort’s wand. Their wands connected to each other curiously. Dumbledore explained that this happen because Harry’s wand and Voldemort’s wands made by feathers belongs to the same phoenix. Other than that, also because the existence of the strange connection between Harry and Voldemort. Keep that in your mind too, you going to need it while watching Deathly Hallows Part 1.

In the end, they realized Harry’s teacher, Professor Mad-Eye Moody, was an imposter after all. He drank the Polyjuice Potion (which allowed someone to change his/her appearance to someone else). He is the one who put Harry’s name in the Goblet of Fire, he helped Harry secretly to make sure he can goes until the end, he is the one who make the Triwizard Cup into a Port Key.


Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix


On the fifth year of Harry's Hogwarts life, things have been different.
Harry feel unsafe and curious while he is staying in Privet Drive with his aunt and uncle, feeling being cut out from the wizarding world. 2 Demontors attacked Harry and his cousin, Dudley, and he was almost expelled because he performs magic in front of a Muggle. He then realized that thing have changed in the wizarding world since Lord Voldemort came back. The Ministry of Magic wouldn't believe him that Voldemort came back. They were too afraid and so they refuse to believe that. They control the newspaper (the Daily Prophet) to destroy Harry's and Dumbledore's name.

After Harry struggling at Privet Drive, finally Dumbledore sent people to bring Harry to headquarter of the Order of Phoenix. The Order of Phoenix is a secret society founded by Dumbledore many years ago before Voldemort fell. Harry's parents James and Lily Potter was one of the members of Order of Phoenix too. Now, the new headquarter of the Order of Phoenix is at Sirius Black old house number 12 Grimmauld Place. They used the Fidelius Charm to hide this place and Dumbledore is the Secret-Keeper. The Weasley family and Hermione were waiting Harry at headquarter too. Harry, Ron and Hermione spent the rest of their summer holiday in Grimmauld Place.

Meanwhile, Harry realized the connection between him and Voldemort grows stronger since he came back to live. Their connection was strong while Harry is sleeping. So he has been doing a lot of weird dreams lately. Seeing the things that Voldemort desired the most. He always saw a dark corridor in his dream; at the end of the corridor he saw a door. He felt desperate to go behind the door, but right before he open the door, he woke up. He never really has the chance to go into the room. He wonders what's inside the room that Voldemort desire so much. And then Sirius fill Harry in with the brief ideas what are they going to do in order to fight back. He said Voldemort wanted something, a weapon, something that he didn't have it last time. Due to Harry is an underage wizard and he is not the member of the order of phoenix, Mrs Weasley (Ron's mom) stop Sirius from saying too much.

Harry's year in Hogwarts has been miserable. The Ministry send someone, Dolores Umbridge, to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts in Hogwarts, or I shall say spying Dumbledore and Harry, to stop them spreading "rumors" about the arising of the Dark Lord. Harry got himself into detention because he was arguing with the Umbridge women!
So Hermione suggest they organize a secret group to learn the proper way to defense themselves, to prepare what is out there. They call themselves, Dumbledore's Army (DA). But then Umbridge found out and Dumbledore sacrifice himself by saying it was his idea they form this group, which the Ministry think that Dumbledore intended to gain power in the Ministry. So Dumbledore have to run because they wanted to put him in Azkaban. Umbridge then take over the school and became the headmistress.

Meanwhile, Harry is still dreaming about the corridor, and seeing what Voldemort has been doing sometimes. Dumbledore realized the connection between them, so he arranged with Snape to teach him Occlumency, a way to block the connection, to shut down his mind from the Dark Lord because Dumbledore think that when Voldemort realized the existance of this connection, Voldemort will use it against Harry.

However Harry having trouble mastering Occlumency. So while Harry was taking his exam, he fell asleep and he saw Sirius Black was captured inside the door he has been dreaming all along. He saw Voldemort torturing him and asks him to fetch something for him. Harry woke up and freak out. He tried to contact with Sirius with the floo powder. He went back to headquarter of the order of phoenix, which Sirius should be staying in all time because he is still a refugee. But he can’t find Sirius there, and the house elf Kreacher told Harry that Sirius went out. Harry was then sure that the dream he saw is true. However, Umbridge suddenly came in and catch him in action. She thought that Harry was trying to communicate with Dumbledore and force him to speak. She request Veritaserum (the truth potion which make the drinker to speak only the truth) from Professor Snape. Harry suddenly remembers that Snape was one of the members in the Order of Phoenix, he said “he got Padfoot, he got Padfoot at where it’s hidden”. Snape shows no reaction because Umbridge was there.

Harry felt hopeless and when he got away from Umbridge, he, Ron, Hermione together with some of the other DA members, Neville, Luna and Ginny, flew to London and go inside the Ministry of Magic, the Department of Mysterious. Rumors said that the Ministry used this place to discover and research on some weird and unexplained magic. They went in, and Harry goes to the prophecy room according to the dream he saw.

When they were inside the prophecy room, Sirius was nowhere to be seen. He saw a crystal ball on the rack with Harry's name on it. He took it, and suddenly a few Death Eaters show up. Including Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy. They understand immediately, that Voldemort has fooled them. He make Harry saw Sirius captured here, so that he can come and help Voldemort fetch the crystal ball for him. He felt bad for being such foolish and putting his friend in this situation. They fight, and of course they don’t stand a chance because they are still students. Suddenly, Sirius and some of the members of Order of Phoenix show up and they have this epic fight. It was Snape that inform them about Harry so they came for the rescue. During the fight, Neville drop the crystal ball, and Bellatrix Lestrange killed Sirius. Harry was furious, he ran chase after her, and he even tried to use the torture curse on her. And then, Voldemort shows up. Before he tried to kill Harry, Dumbledore was there too. Voldemort having this most epic fights ever with Dumbledore. They were equally strong, but then Dumbledore is old. Voldemort disappear when the Auror (wizard police) and the Minister came. They saw him, they saw Voldemort. So finally they believed Dumbledore and Harry.

Back in Hogwarts, in Dumbledore’s office. Harry was furious, he was angry and sad that Sirius was killed. Dumbledore wait until Harry calm down and decided to tell him everything. Why would Voldemort kill Harry while he was just a baby? It was all because of a prophecy. Dumbledore show Harry a memory of his, showing Dumbledore interviewing a teacher in a bar for the Divination subject (a subject in Hogwarts that teach student to predict the future, reading tea leaves, reading sign of the stars to predict future). And then, this teacher, Professor Trelawney, suddenly make a prophecy, a prophecy between Harry and Voldemort.

“The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches ... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies ... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not ... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies ...”

Because she made this prophecy in a public area, someone overheard her, and pass the message to Voldemort, but then it was not complete, he didn’t heard ALL of the prophecy, he only heard until “born as the seventh month dies”. Voldemort felt threaten after he heard this prophecy. He must destroy this threat. And so, after tracing according the prophecy, he “think” that Harry is the one. Harry was born on 31st July. Actually, the prophecy didn’t mention who is the boy. It was all depends on Voldemort, if he hasn’t overheard part of the prophecy, if he hasn’t tried to kill Harry and pass some of his power into Harry accidentally, the prophecy won’t come true. It’s a little complicated here. Imagine, if Voldemort didn’t kill Harry’s parents, what would happened? Harry wouldn’t hate Voldemort as much as now, Harry probably wouldn’t be as tough as now, Voldemort MADE Harry this way. Voldemort is the one that fulfilling the prophecy. And he never realized about that. And now after he came back, he wanted to hear the rest of the prophecy. Each prophecy that has been made will be store in a crystal ball in Ministry of Magic. And the crystal ball can only be retrieve by those who were mention in it, which is Harry. But the crystal ball was destroyed. So he never gets the chance to hear the rest of the prophecy.

After Harry knew all the truth. It turns his world upside down. Sirius is dead, he must be the one to finish off Voldemort. “either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives”. Means either Harry dies, or Voldemort dies. Harry is the Chosen One.


Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince


Harry’s life has been miserable. He felt bad about Sirius’s death. He thinks he is the reason that causes Sirius’s death. He has been wondering around while he was in Privet Drive. He subscribed Daily Prophet to keep track of the news in the wizarding world. Voldemort is now started to kill people in the public again. People in the wizarding world were live in fear. Even the Prime Minister in the Muggle world was warned. One night Dumbledore appear in Privet Drive. He told Harry’s aunt and uncle Vernon about the situation. And Harry was told that Sirius’s old house Grimmauld Place is now belongs to him.

After that Dumbledore brought Harry to an old colleague of Dumbledore, Professor Slughorn. He wanted to ask Slughorn to teach at Hogwarts, but he refuses. Slughorn likes to “collect” famous people. He likes to make good connection with those talented students. So Dumbledore tried to “use” Harry to convince Slughorn to go back to Hogwarts. And he succeeded, Slughorn finally agreed to go back to Hogwarts. Dumbledore told Harry, that Slughorn is the key. He needs something important from Slughorn. Harry was then spent the rest of his holiday in the Burrow, Ron’s house.

Before they go back to Hogwarts, they pay a visit to Diagon Alley, which looks much less people nowadays. Many shops either close down or were destroyed by the Death Eaters. However, the twin brothers Fred and George Weasley’s open a joke shop called Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. Surprisingly they have very good businesses. They met Draco Malfoy along their way. Harry saw Draco were afraid of the tailor touching his arm while she were help him measure his robes. So he suspected him and followed him. He saw him entering to Borgins and Burkes. He was asking about an item. He asked how should he fixed it and he said there’s another pair reserving in the shop. He threatens him by showing his arm and the shop keeper looks scared. Since then Harry suspected that Draco Malfoy has already become, a Death Eater.

After Harry, Ron and Hermione back to Hogwarts, they realized the security of the school has been tightened. Every student were checked by the Auror while they were entering the school. The main entrance was sealed. And Harry heard that Dumbledore has put a lot of protective spells and charm to protect the school from unknown outsiders, or the Death Eaters. Besides, he received a note from Dumbledore, that Dumbledore is going to give Harry a private lessons through out the year.

Dumbledore was preparing Harry this time. Since the prophecy said, that it must be Harry who finish off Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore must let Harry know everything. Not teaching him very advance spells or incantations, but let him know the history of Voldemort. How he cannot be killed, how he still can wonder around while his body is dead. The very first memory Dumbledore shows Harry is a officer from the Ministry of Magic visiting an old dirty hut beside a Muggle’s town. A man name Marvolo Gaunt lived in it together with his only son and daughter, Merope Gaunt. They were the descendent of Salazar Slytherin. They can speak Parseltongue, snake language. There was a locket around Marvolo’s neck. He treated his daughter badly because she was a witch who couldn’t perform magic, a Squib. He thinks that it was a shame to have such abnormal witch in their house.

The officer visits their house because Marvolo’s son, use magic against a Muggle because his sister were in love with that Muggle. The name of the man is called, Tom Riddle, Voldemort’s father, and guess what, Merope is Voldemort’s mother. Marvolo and his son were captured and lock up in Azkaban. Merope was free, she made a love potion for Tom Riddle senior, and so he fell in love with her. After they were together for a while, Merope decided to stop giving him love potion expects him to love her as much. However things changed. He left her and went back to his fiancé. Just then, she realized that she was pregnant. She gave birth to Voldemort in an orphan and she passed away. She named her son after his father, Tom Marvolo Riddle. Before that, she sold their family heirloom locket for money because she was having a hard time.

The second memory Dumbledore shows Harry is the first time Dumbledore met him in an orphan. His name is still Tom Riddle back then. He doesn’t have any friends. He trapped the other orphans that bullied him in a cave. He stole things from the other kids. Dumbledore felt strange about this kid, but he never knew that he would become the darkest wizard of all time.

And then, Dumbledore show few more memories that he had collected about Tom Riddle’s past. He went back to his grandfather Marvolo’s house, killed his Marvolo and get another heirloom of Slytherin, a ring. Then he went to his father’s Tom Riddle senior’s house and killed all of his family. Because he feels disappointed and hates that his father is a Muggle. And then, he came apply a job as the teacher of Defense Against the Dark Arts. But obviously Dumbledore never hires him. And then he went to work in a dark items shop in Knockturn Alley called Bargins and Burkes. Dumbledore also shows Harry a memory retrieved from a house elf. While Tom Riddle were working at Borgins and Burkes, he went to this collectors house, to see a treasure she collected. It was a historical item from Hufflepuff, a trophy cup from Hufflepuff. This collector was then died mysteriously, and the Hufflepuff trophy cup is nowhere to be seen.

Dumbeldore suspects that the reason Voldemort wish to work as a teacher in Hogwarts is because he wanted to collect all the historical items that belongs to each houses in Hogwarts, Godric Gryfinndor’s sword, the locket and the ring from Salazar Slythrin, and the trophy cup from Hufflepuff. And then Dumbledore shows Harry the last and the most important memory of all. It was the memory of Professor Slughorn. The memory shows that Tom Riddle seems to be very interested in an object called, the Horcrux.

The Horcrux is a dark magical object, which hides part of the dark wizards soul in the object for the purpose s of attaining immortality. With part of a witch or wizard’s soul thus stored, he or she becomes immortal so long as the Horcrux remains intact. This is why Lord Voldemort could not die. He asked Slughorn that what would happen if someone created 7 Horcruxes. This gives Dumbledore clue that, Lord Voldemort, has created 7 Horcruxes. The diary in the Chamber of Secret, it was one of the Horcruxes, and Harry destroyed it. Dumbledore found the ring of Slytherin and destroyed it, which down to 5.

Last, Dumbledore found another Horcrux, which he thinks he can’t retrieve it alone. This one was hidden in the cave that Voldemort trapped the other orphan while he was a kid. Harry and Dumbledore get into the cave and they found that there was a basin in the middle of the cave. The locket is inside the basin and the basin is full of some kind of potion. They can’t get the locket, unless you drink the potion. Dumbledore asked Harry to force him to drink the entire potion. When Dumbledore started to drink the potion, he looks aweful. He keeps on begging for death as he was suffering. It seems that the potion brings guilt to the drinker. And finally Dumbledore finish the potion and the locket lies inside the basin. They took it and leave.

After they back to Hogwarts, they realized that there’s a dark mark above Hogwarts, The Death Eater is inside Hogwarts. And that night, Dumbledore was killed, by Severus Snape. However, Harry then realized that the locket they risk their life to take from the cave, it was a fake. There was a note inside the locket said that the locket was took by someone that declare himself as the R.A.B. Harry decided not to go back to Hogwarts next year and finish what Dumbledore left him, trace and destroy all Voldemort’s Horcruxes so that Voldemort can be mortal again and then finish him off once and for all.

So these are basically the things that you need to know before you went to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I know it’s a little bit long but :P well what do you expect it’s summary of 6 books of Harry Potter. Took me awhile to finish typing this. Hope you guys like it. It's been awhile since I update my blog! >.<
Getting lazier and lazier, there are 3 draft in my posting list and I still haven't finish writing..

First it was about Chinese New Year movies combo (gosh it was long time ago)
Second it was the review of S.H.E Is The One Live in Malaysia Concert 2010
Third would be the post about our Gizwiz Macau & Hong Kong Trip. To be honest, I prefer our Bali trip.

Guess I wouldn't and couldn't finish it anymore :P as the memories are flushing away.. couldn't blog about it anymore.
So, what to expect in my blog now? I guess.. I will post one post about Harry Potter soon, since it's only have 38 days left before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 to be release! 18th November 2010
It would be a summary of Book 1 until Book 6 and the important points the previous movies has left out. So that those non-readers wouldn't get confuse while they watch Harry Potter 7.

Other than that, well in this, more than half year time, many things changed, for one thing, I'm officially switch to Mac! Just got myself a MacBook Pro not long ago.. Not trying to show off just telling!
Another thing would be my target in my career changed. It has been a confusion for awhile, and although now it's not really clear what I wanted, but still it's getting clearer.. Have to believe in what I want and have to set a goal for myself to archive! Not to mention have to force myself to take action and the determinate to reach my goal!!
One more thing was, the relationship between our family and our relatives changed. This is a regret and it was unavoidable. I'm sad that I have to lose contact with our relatives like that but, it has to be this way. Otherwise my parents couldn't have a peace of mind. I couldn't say that it was fully their fault for all these things happened (actually it is their fault), but, sigh, I don't know what to say. If any of you read this, I want to let you know that, the way you treated us, this is not what I call as "family". Family don't do these to family. End of story.

Okay, so I guess, the purpose I posted this just wanted to keep my blog alive. Hope I can blog more in the future! Your support would be my motivation!

Anniversary Trip to Singapore!

WooHoo! It was me and my girlfriend's second anniversary, and we decided to go for a trip for this anniversary, and so we went to Singapore for 3 days 2 nights! This was actually the first time I planed the whole vacation and went for a vacation on my own. Including flight tickets, map, tourist spots research and etc. Luckily I have a friend Wesley who is now working in Singapore and he guided us on our second day of our trip.

We departed at 8th January 2010 morning from Kuala Lumpur by Air Asia of course, couldn't afford more :P, at only RM25 per person! Believe it or not, believe it! Then we reach Singapore at around 12pm. The first thing we arrived in Changi Airport, we went to the tourist information and double confirm the correct way to go to our hotel, Value Hotel Thomson.

Our journey going to our hotel was little bit stupid. We have heard that Singapore MRT is very very very convenience but we didn't know it is THAT convenience! It make us looks like stupid.

First, when purchasing MRT tickets with the machine, we were still confused with the Sing Dolar so it took us awhile and there were people queuing behind us.

Second, when we took the MRT interchange, we didn't know their "interchange" really means "interchange"! Unlike Singapore, in Kuala Lumpur LRT, when we need to make "interchange" we have to get down from the train, get out from the station, go to the opposite or some took 5-10 minutes walking distance to the next station under the hot whether, buy another tickets and get on the train. BUT THERE IS NO NEED IN SINGAPORE! You just have to buy the tickets directly to your destination no matter how many interchange, then at the interchange station, you get out from the train, the next train arrived in front of you just right after you get out from the previous train. There is no need to go out to the station and re-buy tickets to your next destination. Both of us looks like ape-man from the jungle cause we went out from the station and bought another tickets on each interchange for 2 times =.="

Value Hotel Thomson
(MRT route: Changi Airpot -> City Hall -> Novena)


It looked high class from this photo right? Well actually, it was cheap! I've search through the net for Hotel in Singapore and realized most of the "liveable" hotel in Singapore are very expensive! Those that "unliveable" mostly located at Geylang, which is the place where people find hooker. Hotel in Geylang only around RM100 - RM200. My early budget for accommodation was actually not more than RM200, but then after search through I increase my budget to not more than RM300 :(

Right before I gave up and decided to go for a hotel cost RM280++ per night, I found this hotel! It was only S$89(RM215 approximately). Check out the photos..





Small, but clean, neat, and nice interior! Saw high review online before we went for it. Although there was a distance between the nearest MRT station to the hotel (about 15 minutes walking distance), but it was still acceptable cause there were still buses to the MRT station (S$1 per person, 5 minutes distance). It only cost S$7 per person for breakfast, but we didn't take it.

Bugis Street Market


Our first stop was this Bugis Street Market. It was a waste of time!!!! My friend recommended me to go shopping there. There was a banner wrote "The Biggest Street Market in Singapore", but this street market have nothing to shop =.= Maybe because the things there doesn't suitable for us. They mostly sell those cloths we saw online before. And also some pirated branded shoes, cloths and etc. It looks not much different like Malaysia Pasar Malam. The only difference is it was indoor. So it wasn't as hot as street market in Malaysia. **sigh**
We reach there around 3pm and leave there around 5pm =.="


Singapore Night Safari


Our second destination was this Night Safari. In order to get to the Singapore Zoo, you can take MRT to Ang Mo Kio station, and then walk opposite the airport-alike bus station to take bus number 138. Really amazed by their bus station, it was so clean and convenience. People like me who don't like to take bus also amazed, imagine LOL.

In Singapore Zoo there were 3 sections which are the Singapore Zoo, the Bird Park, and the Night Safari. I was doubted to visit there at first when we were planing our schedule because it sounded so like primary school trip to zoo and feel that it was kind of lame. Not to mention the entry tickets was so expensive! S$22 per person + tram to round the safari S$10 per person!! However my girlfriend like to see animals so, okay we decided to go there.

When we arrived there, my doubt goes away immediately! The interior were nice! It was really Safari feel! The main theme was like we went into the minority village. Looks old yet high class! So with no doubt, bought 2 tickets! Here are some photos..




Glow in the dark gift shop which feels like Planet Pandora!!


Then We were told that there will be a night animal show at their arena called Creatures of the Night Show, which was included in the entry tickets so we went for it. I didn't expect much from the show, as I thought, animal show were all almost the same. However, I got excited when I went into the arena! Amazed by this..


After the show started, it amazed me more when we saw a full grown adult size wolf walked on the cliff howling!! This behavior was just like what we saw in the movie or discovery channel! I never imagined that I could actually saw that with my own eyes! Not to mention the dangerous striped hyena was walking around the stage!! It really looks dangerous and fierce! In case you guys don't know what hyena is, this is it..


Unlike normal animal show, their show was so much fun! Even the trainer hosting the show, an indian women, were so funny and and so active! 20 minutes passed so fast and I hope there was more cause it was really interesting! Besides, there were also many interactive with the audiences like, they faking they have animals escaped and make it as thought there were some emergencies and they searching for the animal within the audiences. Some naughty trainer scared the audiences on purpose by screaming out loud! Guess what they found in the end from the floor, a giant snake! Python! Luckily the snake wasn't search out from the place we seat, imagine a giant snake on the floor and you were seated there for about 10 minutes and never realized! But of course, it was caged. LOL

Okay, I'll stop describing all the details of the show so that you won't be spoiled :P Go see for it yourselves! It was the best animal show I've ever watched! Sorry because I couldn't took photos there as it was dark and we were not allowed to use flash light.

After the show we went for our dinner in Night Safari! Bongo Burgers.

While we were enjoying our dinner, there were show to watch too! Some aboriginal were messing around with fire!


After we filled our stomach, we proceed to the tram to round the whole safari! It was really huge! You can actually choose to not taking the tram and walk around yourself, but believe me, you'll need the tram. You don't even have enough time to finish the whole safari as it is only open after 7pm. I'm not sure what time they close but, really you need the tram! S$10 T.T

The tram was just normal, there was a tram guide explaining along the way. Their English were nice to listen, not those broken English but very proper English, with some humors added along the explanation. Along the way we can see the wild animals on the run, some herbivores even walked around us freely and uncaged. I wonder how they keep them in that area.


After about half an hour journey, the tram came to the pit stop. Where this is one of the walking trail that is available in the Singapore Night Safari, the Leopard Trail. They have the Leopard Trail, Fishing Cat Trail, and a Forest Giant Trail. However, and sadly, we don't have enough time for all the trails especially the Forest Giant Trail were huge :( Because, the Leopard Trail already can see a lot of things! Leopard for sure you can see here! And also Cheetah, one of the most memorable was the Flying Squirrel!!! They build a huge cage, where visitors have to walk through a lot of chain curtain to avoid the flying squirrel flew out from the cage, then at the inside, you can actually see the flying squirrel flew around! They "jump" or "fly" from one side to another side, you can say that they were jumping, but it was like fly-alike jumping LOL. Also, same concepts applies to the Bats! A cage with a lot of doors we have to go through, then we can see a real live HUGE bats flying around! Although I saw one in Bali before, but these bats in Singapore, they flew! XD The one in Bali were just hanging there upside down waiting to be fed. You know what reminds me from these cage they used? If you guys watch Jurrasic Park III, the huge cage they built to cage the flying dinosaurs, yes that. But not as huge as that of course that was for dinosaurs!

There were so much more animals that you can see from the Leopard Trail, I only mention those that are interesting. So we continue to our next half of the tram's journey. The next half of the journey we can see lions, tigers and lucky us saw the tiger roar! XD And there were elephants too, with huge teeth! We passed through the Forest Giant Trail but we have no time for that, it was already 10pm and we have to get back before the MRT close :( sad. And that is all of our journey, really really really memorable, unforgetable, worth the tickets price. The next time I go to Singapore, I want to visit their Singapore Zoo and the Bird Park as well, which are located at the same place but in different section.

Sentosa Island - The Underwater World


On the second day of our trip, we went to the Sentosa Island, where we heard there was an Underwater World which is nice to visit! And so I asked ex-colleague of mine, Wesley, who is now working in Singapore to go there along with us. He has been working there for about half a year but he never went to the Sentosa Island =.=" And the GREAT NEWS he brought us that day was, "hey you know, I have a friend working in Hard Rock Hotel in Sentosa and it is now open for their staff's family and friends for testing purposes, and you know how much per night? S$38!!!!!!!!" OH MY GOD!!!!! HARD ROCK HOTEL WITH S$38!! It was too late, it was then fully booked and I've already paid for my hotel :( It's even cheaper than my hotel S$89 T.T

Okay, so the Underwater World. After we visited the Night Safari, I've high expectation in the Underwater World, but it disappointed me a little. The interior was so so, the dolphin show was kind of boring, you know just dolphin jumping around. Although their dolphin were little bit different, their so called "the pink dolphin". However we think that the pink dolphin wasn't pretty, their skin were gray in color but here little bit pink there a little big pink, looks like sick dolphin. LOL


However, the underwater tunnel was impressive! the water wasn't deep, but the tunnel was long. They even build the automatic walkway in the tunnel so that visitors doesn't have to walk when they wanted to see the underwater animals. They have a lot of sharks. Their animals was more grayish. Lack of colorful fishes. Here are the photos.





After we came out from the Underwater World, both of us bought some souvenir there. A very nice Underwater World bookmark. And then we went to see their beach in Sentosa Island. Our friend told us that the whole Sentosa Island were built! It wasn't natural island! Impressive how they build an island. And the sand were imported from Indonesia. On our way leaving the Sentosa Island, we saw the Universal Studio were under constructions! Woohoo.. Next time I come here I wanted to go Universal Studio. However my final target is the Universal Studio in Orlando, because there is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park!!!! XD

Chinatown

My friend told us that the Hainan Chicken Rice in Chinatown were very nice! So he brought us there to taste the Hainan Chicken Rice!



It didn't disappoint us! The chicken rice were really nice!! Even my girlfriend who didn't like steam chicken because of the "chicken smell" said that it was nice! Haha :P

Esplanade Theater, Merlion Park, and Clarke Quey

Our next station was the Merlion Park. So we went to City Hall MRT station and walk to Merlion Park. Although it was quite far walking from the MRT station to our destination, however, they built an underground tunnel! And the tunnel have air conditional! Impressive, doesn't felt hot at all. The tunnel linked to the Esplanade Theater, or the Durian Theater. XD


Compare to our own KLCC Philharmonic Orchestra, this Esplanade Theater was impressive! Huge, high class, high standard. Wish I can watch an Orchestra performance here one day. ^^

Then the Merlion Park was just 10 minutes walk from the theater. So we walked there and here we are. The Singapore landmark, we saw the mermaid + lion statue.


Beside the statue there were Coffee Bean and Starbucks, so we went to the Coffee Bean and chit chatting awhile there. Their drinks prices of their Coffee Bean were around S$6. Although it was almost same with the prices in Malaysia, but think again, example if we earn RM2000 in Malaysia, we pay for the drinks for RM14, and Singaporean earn S$2000, and they pay for the drinks for S$6!! So their Coffee Bean and Starbucks were actually a very normal cafe and not the 'high class' or 'expensive coffee'. What we can do, all I can say is same people, different fate. **sigh**

And then, right before we departed to our next destination, the riverside Clarke Quey, it was already went into dark and we have a different view of the Merlion Park and Esplanade Theater!!



That is what I called a successful city. Not to mention 2 upcoming Casino opening in Singapore, impressed.

It was about 15 minutes walking distance, we were now here at the riverside Clarke Quey, Singapore night life is here! Although we didn't go into their club, both of us don't like clubbing so much, some more the head charge were expensive (we guessed cause we never asked :P) so we were just take a walk and have a look. It was so lively and there were a lot of 'ang mo' tourist.

So we went back hotel after that. That was our second day in Singapore, saw more stuff compare to the first day cause wasted time in that Bugis Street Market! Urgh!

Orchard Road

Our third and the last day in Singapore, our flight departed at 6pm, so we estimated we have to reach the airport at 4pm. And so, after we checked out from the hotel at about 11am, we went to shopping in Orchard Road, with the luggage!!! It was suffering, shopping with 2 heavy luggage. Because after we consider for awhile, we really don't have much time go shopping then go back to the hotel to get our luggage. So, we were forced to shop with our luggage :( Really spoiled our shopping mood. Although the shopping mall in Orchard were all high class and impressive buildings!


So we were just shop shop shop then bought some cloths. And starting to depart to the airport at 3pm. So sad that we couldn't really enjoy shopping there :(

The Changi Airport

After we checked in our luggage and get our boarding passes, we still have more than one hour in the airport. So we were walking around and try to find something to eat. On our way to the restaurants section, we pass by a butterfly garden! Yes they have a butterfly garden in the Changi Airport! Never imagined that they have a butterfly garden in the airport! So sweet of them, tourist couldn't get bored in the airport while waiting for their flight!




Then we took our lunch in Ajisan Ramen. And Desing went to Chales & Keith to have a quick look of the high heels she saw back in Orchard Road. But she didn't buy because we didn't really have much time for her to try to shoe properly. Lucky her cause she found the shoe back in Kuala Lumpur Pavillion LOL. Although the price were little bit higher in Malaysia.

Oh one thing I must mention in the airport. I want to put this on a big highlights so that if next time you guys go visit Singapore won't make the same mistakes as we do.

KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING YOU PAID IN SINGAPORE!!!

EVERYTHING! Like the receipts from the restaurant, the receipts when you shopping in Singapore. You know why? Because, TOURIST CAN CLAIM BACK THE GOVERNMENT TAX IN THE AIRPORT!!!!! It was too late when we found out because we have already checked in our luggage and the receipts were inside our luggage!!!! You know how much you can claim? 7%!!!! That is a lot!! Especially when it's in Sing Dolar!!! SO SAD!! URGHHH!!~~

So, that was all of our Singapore Trip. Really happy and memorable. A success trip for us "beginners" of traveling. Although the time was short, only 3 days 2 nights, but for Singapore I think we have it enough. Because, for us Malaysians shopping in Singapore isn't really that suitable cause of the currency. Some of the things were expensive and some have not much difference in Malaysia. Then what's the point of shopping in Singapore right? China or Bangkok is still the nicest shopping heaven!! My next target would be Bangkok!! But my next trip is Gizwiz company trip to Macau & Hong Kong! :P

There was a little bit accidents happened when we wanted to go back to Penang from Kuala Lumpur. We missed our flight!!!!!! We were 10 minutes late after the counter closed! We have a wrong estimation of time T.T Forced to purchase a new flight tickets that cost me RM344!! The flight we missed were only cost around RM120 T.T A sad ending of our trip :(

Total cost us about RM2000 for 2 person in this 3 days 2 nights trip.
